WARNING: This article and video contains spoilers for Season 5 Episode 10 of Yellowstone, which aired November 18 only on Stan.
Yellowstone's mid-season finale shocked viewers to their core, but it's only set the pace for this latest episode.
Episode 10 begins and Teeter (Jennifer Landon) is notably missing as the cowboys settle into the 6666 Ranch camp. It's dark and panic settles in.
There's Teeter fighting for her life in her tent, trembling, breathless. She whispers one word: "Rattlesnake".

The snake has constricted itself around Teeter's body. As we hold our breath, Rip (Cole Hauser) comes to the rescue with minutes of her life left to spare.
"This ain't Montana, and you can't sleep out in the f--king stars out here! You've got me?" Rip grills into his cowboys.
He’s right, this isn't Montana – and things will never be the same with John Dutton (Kevin Costner) gone.

"Who is that?" asks rancher Ryan (Ian Bohen) almost in awe.
"You've got to be f--king kidding me," chuckles Rip before Beth runs into his arms.

She steals Rip for a night away. Things turn bittersweet as Rip reveals this is his first time outside of Montana ever.
"Imagine all the things we could do if we weren't shackled to that ranch," Beth sighs in his arms.

As they go out for a drink, Beth realises she's sitting in the "cowboy capital of the world". She sees opportunity or as Rip puts it, "What have you got cooking in that big brain of yours?"
We don't know what yet, but we love when Beth has a plan.
Lloyd (Forrie J. Smith) has been holding the fort down back at the Yellowstone Ranch. He's the first rancher we see process John's death.
"What the hell, Rip? I don't believe those bullsh--ting newspapers, someone caught up to him," Lloyd protests John's apparent suicide. "So are we getting in this fight?"
"If we can figure out who to fight and how to fight them," Rip replies.
So there stands two cowboys who have spent their whole lives at Yellowstone, unsure about what their future holds.

Meanwhile, Beth finds Summer Higgins (Piper Perabo) lingering in the loungeroom. "F--k, I forgot all about you," says Beth as she stops in her tracks.
If you recall, Summer was under house arrest at the ranch under John Dutton's supervision – and the pair were romantically involved before his passing.
But cue the iconic banter. Beth tells Summer she's been "released" this whole time and kicks her out of the house.
While Lloyd grieves, we see Monica (Kelsey Asbille) and Tate (Brecken Merrill) react to John's death for the first time. Kayce (Luke Grimes) takes his son for a walk as the Dutton legacy now rests in his hands.
"If that's something you feel compelled to continue, I'll find a way to make sure that happens," Kayce looks Tate in the eyes.
"Running [the ranch] is what got him killed," Tate replies, holding back tears.
Over in Helena, Jamie (Wes Bentley) is on edge. We don't blame him, he's Beth's number one suspect for their father's death. There’s fear in his eyes when he learns Beth’s waiting in his office for him.
Beth stubs out a cigarette on Jamie's desk and slowly approaches. She slaps him, twice. Three times until he looks her in the eyes.
"Why can't you look at me, Jamie? We both know why, don't we."
"Last chance, Jamie," Beth whispers as she leaves the room.
"OK… Seeing me will be the last thing you will ever do alive. I swear to God, Jamie."
Then Sarah enters the room... "Oh, this is going to be fun," Beth scowls.
Beth walks out with her head held high but is soon fighting tears.
"I knew it, I f--king knew it," she cries as puts Kayce on the phone.
"It was him, he didn't even deny it. He wouldn't look me in the eye, Kayce... he couldn't."
Kayce believes her and they know Jamie's not working alone. That "viper who lays in his bed" sure seems capable of murder, however.

Kayce makes a phone call to an ex-army buddy who might have a contact behind such an operation.
Back at the office, Jamie bows his head in defeat. "She knows," he says in fear. But Sarah thinks otherwise.
"No, you've won, Jamie. The kingdom is yours."
But has he won?! Beth and Jamie surely have a plan and we must know more. Tune in next Monday as we inch closer to the showdown of the year!
